Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how MIR Insure uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. "Strictly necessary" cookies are essential for a website to function and, under the EU ePrivacy rules and GDPR, do not require consent. Non-essential cookies (such as analytics or advertising) do require consent — and we do not use any.
2. Cookies and storage we use
Strictly necessary
- mir_session — an encrypted, HTTP-only session cookie that keeps you signed in and protects your account. Without it, the Service cannot function. It is removed when you log out or when it expires.
Preference (local storage)
- mir_cookie_consent — stores your cookie banner choice so we don't ask again. Set only after you make a selection.
3. Cookies we do NOT use
We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, cross-site tracking, social-media trackers, or third-party analytics. We do not sell or share information for behavioral advertising.
4. Managing cookies
Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, the Service will not work properly if they are blocked. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time, and you can clear the mir_cookie_consent preference by clearing your browser storage for this site (the banner will then appear again).
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and we will re-display the cookie banner when the policy materially changes.
