Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MIR Insure website and services (the "Service") operated by MIR Insure ("we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is — and isn't

MIR Insure is a free insurance comparison and referral service. We help you gather information and connect with third-party, licensed insurance carriers. We are not an insurance company, agent, broker or producer, we do not sell insurance, and we do not provide insurance quotes, advice or recommendations. Any binding quote, policy, coverage or price is provided solely by the carrier you choose, subject to the carrier's own terms, underwriting and verification.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
• The first account registered may be granted administrative privileges over the site.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• submit false information or impersonate another person;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data;
• interfere with, disrupt, scrape, or place undue load on the Service or its infrastructure.

5. Referral & affiliate disclosure

When you click through to a partner carrier, you may be directed via a referral or affiliate link. We may earn a commission if you start a policy with that carrier, at no additional cost to you. This does not influence the information we present, and you are never obligated to purchase anything.

6. No guarantees

We do not guarantee that any particular carrier, coverage, quote, rate or savings will be available to you. Information shown on the Service may be incomplete or out of date, and final terms are always determined by the carrier.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its content, design and software, is owned by MIR Insure or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works except as permitted by these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MIR Insure and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including certain rights of consumers in the EU/UK).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MIR Insure from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
